Take The Pollinator Safe Pledge!

Pollinator Safe Pledge
You can be a part of a regional landscape solution to create a state-wide pollinator haven in Colorado! By converting your backyard or your business property to pollinator safe habitat, you are joining others who are doing the same and changing Colorado for the better, one garden or property at a time. For lists of suitable plants, visit Colorado Native Plant Society’s website at www.conps.org or Xerces Society’s website at www.xerces.org.

The Pollinator Pledge
As pollinators and people are endangered by the use of pesticides and other harmful chemicals in the environment, and there is a critical lack of safe healthy food for pollinators to eat and I am aware of these dangers, I pledge to help reduce the amount of pesticides in the environment and to increase the amount of pollinator safe habitat.

PPAN will only be successful with the involvement of everyone who cares about human and pollinator health. We are an all volunteer organization working to counter the huge amount of money and power that the pesticide industry has. There IS power in speaking out as a community. While we all know that pests can be harmful to our health, so can the chemicals that have been developed to get rid of them. Somehow, we need to find the right balance and learn to find alternatives to harmful chemicals. We also need to make sure that pollinators get enough to eat with safe, healthy forage for them.  So, get involved today: Volunteer, donate, sign up for action alerts and continue to learn all that you can!

If you chose to be featured on our Pollinator Pledge Map, your location will show on the map 48 hours after submitting the pledge form above. An icon will appear in the general area of your property, but your name and actual address will not be revealed.
