#GivingTuesday is a global day that's all about sharing the love and taking action!
So, today, I offer you the opportunity to exercise your agency with three simple acts that will further the causes you care about.
Choose one or all three. And know that your participation on this day of global giving does make a difference...for the betterment of biodiversity and for the health of both people and pollinators.
Preserve biodiversity and protect human health by pledging not to use pesticides and by committing to incorporate some native plants into your yard/landscape.
2) Volunteer with PPAN
Get your hands dirty and learn about native plants and pollinators; become a pollinator champion for your community; or table an event to help spread the word about PPAN's work. Sign up here!
3) Support an organization in your community that:
promotes regenerative farming (particularly one that serves BIPOC and/or underserved communities—those most adversely impacted by pesticide exposure)
promotes native plant gardening
advocates for safe land management practices & policies at the municipal, state, and federal levels
