For the 5th year in a row, thanks to PPAN‘s efforts, the Governor of Colorado has signed a proclamation, officially declaring the month of June as Colorado Pollinator Month! This proclamation underlines the importance, on behalf of the state, to support conservation measures that promote the protection and maintenance of pollinator habitat, along with an “all hands on deck” approach to providing healthy, diverse and native habitat, and raising public awareness in the state about the importance of protecting pollinators.
We hope you’ll take this opportunity to help create a pollinator safe community in your neighborhood! Check out our Pollinator Safe Communities Guide. Happy Pollinator Month!
