On January 24th, 2025, PPAN had the honor of hosting a Legislative Breakfast for Colorado state legislators, bringing together a room full of people who care about the future of pollinators. From policymakers to beekeepers, researchers to conservationists, this gathering was all about collaboration, education, and action.
In partnership with incredible local and state organizations—including the BeeChicas, CSU Extension, CU Museum, Bee Squared Apiaries, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Colorado State Beekeeper’s Association, Colorado Department of Natural Resources, and the Colorado Department of Transportation—we had exciting conversations about the challenges facing pollinators and the steps we can take to support them at the state level.
